We have been experimenting with other games "play to learn", basically, so it will help us get a better idea of the categories and what we can do. I personally am leaning on the civics category. Not many people are interested in it and I believe I can put a real twist to the subject with the game me and my partner are making.

    Civics and news literacy is a good category to compete in. And, remember your game just has to have a component of it in it. One of my teams won last year and each of the students on the team received a new laptop with Flash installed. It was pretty nice.
